Tasia's Wedding// September 10th, 2016

My dear friend from high school, Tasia, trusted me (or at least acted like she trusted me) enough to do her makeup for her wedding in Moab, Utah.
My boyfriend, Marshall, and I arrived at our cabin around midnight the night before and we woke up around 7 that morning to explore the Arches National Park for a few hours before I started Tasia's makeup.
Needless to say I was tired, sweaty and hangry, but after a bag of kettle corn I was prepared to pull through.
Two and a half hours [of trying to maintain Tasia's focus whilst 2 large mimosas deep and moving locations 3 times] later... that's exactly what I did.
She was happy, I was tired, and we were both ready for a drink.

Her husband, Juan, was the epitome of what every girl wants their husband to look like the moment they see her walking down the aisle.
He was losing his shit. So many emotions. Wow.

*Side note: I'm very aware my picture quality is shit. I didn't realize my camera was set to aperture until I got back to look at them that night... And then I cried inside.

HOWEVER Tasia's photographers from ROGUE Film Co. (www.roguefilmco.com) took some pretty awesome pics so I snagged a few that showed her makeup/ me doing her makeup so you guys could see what it actually looked like (the last 5 pics in this post are theirs). I'm still including my shitty pics because I wanted to kind of show her eye makeup and turns out brides don't normally close their eyes much during their wedding ceremonies.

Anyways, if you'd like the deets, please read below!

NOTES//

*When working with Airbrush foundation but still using traditional concealer, I've found that applying under eye concealer beneath the the airbrush foundation turns out beautifully. However, if you try applying it on top of foundation like you would with traditional makeup, especially if you use a damp beauty blender, this will disturb the foundation that has already dried down, causing it to lift up. Not cute.
This also allows a good chunk of time for baking the under eye area if you're into that. The foundation still wears beautifully on top of the concealer and powder and you're left with a true airbrush finish.

**I haven't tried airbrush concealer because I'm not really interested/ I don't feel I'd be precise enough not to blind my client so this may not apply if you use airbrush concealer.

Rylee's Prom // April 30th, 2016

My cousin Rylee's prom was- youuu guessed it- last year. And I'm just now writing about it.
Rylee went a little ham in the spray tan department so the under eye powder situation is a little light on her because I didn't bring anything darker (my mistake). Luckily, I had almost every Dinair airbrush foundation color with me so besides being hella lit under the eyes, her foundation matched her body and we just did a super light and feminine, rose gold eye with a slight halo effect. If you'd like to know to get the exact look, please see below.

Thanks for visiting!
